Presumably they have made their own insert using our replacement union kit and a piece of PVC pipe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo accommodate those customers, we now offer a pre-made meter replacement insert, cut to the proper length and made of gray PVC that matches the meter color. If you prefer white, let us know. We can do that, it just requires buying unions in white at Home Depot and hence will be a bit more expensive :-).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis insert will be useful any time you want to replace the meter, not just over the winter.
